Welcome to the 1st International Conference on Environmental Awareness for Sustainable Development (ICERASD). Hosted by Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton.

Misperception of human's point of view to the rapid growth of the world development has led to a condition called "Unsustainable Development." A condition where human life is out of balance due to human actions that aim to exploit the ecosystem more than to conserve natural resources. In other words, humans tend to overuse and forget about protecting the environment itself. It has led to an environmental crisis triggered by a reduction of environmental awareness.

Considering this problem, a conference called "1st ICERASD" will be held in Baubau, Indonesia, on August 4 to 5, 2020.
